Fresher’s Reception for the 8th Batch of Fashion Design and Apparel Technology Program

The WUB Fashion Club of the Fashion Design and Apparel Technology (FDAT) program, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) organized a Fresher’s Reception to welcome its new batch of students. The program was held on September 25, 2025.

The ceremony was graced by Prof. Zaki Imam, Registrar, World University of Bangladesh, and Mr. Ahsam Touhid Milton, Joint Registrars; Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Textile Engineering and Fashion Design, along with other faculty members of the department. They warmly welcomed the newcomers and shared valuable insights about the evolving fashion and textile industry.

In their speeches, the guests emphasized the growing importance of creativity, innovation, and technology-driven learning in shaping the future of the fashion and apparel industry. They encouraged students to pursue research, sustainability, and professionalism throughout their academic journey at WUB.
