Biography

I am Syeda Sadia Afrin, a Lecturer in the Department of Textile Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh. I hold a B.Sc. in Fashion Design and Apparel Engineering from NITER, University of Dhaka, and have prior teaching experience at Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology, where I taught core fashion and apparel courses using student-centered and modern pedagogical approaches. I also gained industry exposure through my internship in Product Design and Development at BEXIMCO Group, working on apparel development for international brands. My academic interests focus on textile innovation, sustainable practices in the RMG sector, and applied design education, with a strong commitment to academic excellence and professional growth.
