Short Biography:
Md. Shamsuzzaman working as an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Department of Textile Engineering. He has joined this department since September 2017 as a lecturer and is still serving. Before that, he worked for Silken Sewing Ltd. (Platinum, LEED certified) for 1.8 years and almost 1 year at AJI Group after his graduation.
He has earned his Bachelor’s in Textile Engineering from World University of Bangladesh in 2015 and Master’s in Textile Engineering from Bangladesh University of Textiles in 2019, specialization in Apparel Manufacturing.
He is well educated and keeps himself updated with recent trends in the textile and fashion industries. During his teaching career, he has helped numerous students with thesis supervision, consulting on job preparation, and advising fresh graduates for higher study.
Research Interests:
Sustainable textile and apparel production, environmental sustainability, circular economy, waste reuse and recycling, clothing comfort, effluent analysis and smart textiles
