Short Biography:

Kibria Fayez has pursued teaching as a profession because he enjoys this noble profession of inspiring and motivating students to realize and exceed their potentials. He joined as a faculty member at the Department of Textile Engineering of the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) in February-01, 2019. He believes that a combination of academic and industrial learning makes an engineering teacher more perfect. So, before joining as a teacher, he has served in the area of production and R&D of two renowned textile factories of the country. He started his professional career as an executive of denim weaving production in Argon Denims Ltd. on 1^st January 2016. Then after serving there for more than two years, he was appointed as senior production officer of Silver Composite Textile Mills (Unit-3) where he was responsible for dealing with research & development as well as the production of color & grey fabrics. Kibria Fayez possesses a glorious academic record. He completed his B.Sc. in Textile Engineering degree with a major in Fabric Engineering from Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX). Earlier he fulfilled his SSC & HSC from Cantonment Public School & College, Rangpur. He achieved golden A+ & scholarship from the education board in both categories. He enjoys research works especially in the field of nonwoven, denim development & technical textile. He is a member of “Institution of Textile Engineers and Technologists” which is also known as ITET.
